Portland Oregon

13 Feb Posted by in Blog | 1 comment

I have been in Portland Oregon for the past week and a half getting everything ready for the West Coast swing. CSUMB Otter open is the first tour stop this coming weekend. I am traveling with three of my good friends and competitors this season, Dave Feldberg, Will Schusterick and Cale Leiviska. We are all part of the NONSTOPDISCGOLF TOUR and we are planning on 40 tournaments, around 80 league nights, 15 of our own Nonstop Disc Golf tournaments, all Majors, NT’s, and Europe of course. We have been doing a lot of brainstorming about our plans and tour stops for 2012, we are looking for spots to set up clinics and demonstrations all year long and hope to spread the love of disc golf into the mainstream. If you are interested and have a town interested in learning and growing in this sport send and email to nikkolocastro@live.com. Our Nonstop Tour is also looking for sponsorships from clubs, businesses, and people looking to get their name on the RV. Send me an email if you are interested in doing business with us. Disc Golf is the fastest growing sport and we plan on doing NONSTOPDISCGOLF for years to come. I am still in the works on the disc golf art and great ideas are coming together every day and I hope to add more designs very soon. If you have any ideas for disc golf art or have any that you have personally done send it on over. I will update my tour schedule on the website very soon so please stay tuned.

On top of getting the tour schedule lined up I have been practicing at local courses such as Pier park and Milo. We have a practice basket in the back yard and I am making sure to use it as much as possible. We have also been going to the gym a few times a week to stay healthy. This is no longer the off season its time to do work and compete.
